Lots of characters introduced at beginning. Probably too many which might explain why physical descriptions etc. are overlooked. The FGM (not my thing!)is fairly detailed unlike some of the book's sex scenes. Maybe Mr Norman will focus on the daughter as her she embarks on enslavement right at the end of the book rather than roving around a multitude of storylines. 4 out of 5

Firstly to correct a sentence on page 5 : this is the fifth and not the fourth novel of this series. I still don't know what to think of this story! I cannot give less than 4 stars to this talented author but I think with this last novel we're losing some thrills that made the series a must read!l Although I really appreciate the Bermuda series - my favourites being #1 #2 and #4 - I don't understand why putting more characters in the story can help the plot. Why not developping adventures around Amy, Rebecca and Julia just like the author did in those novels? Also I didn't feel the same closeness with the main characters as Spoils of War. BTW - I think I missed some details in the storyline - i'd like to know if Rachel and Rebecca (from Spoils) are the same? Still looking for new tales from the Bermuda Universe! I found this book fascinating without having read any other from the serie. There is some remembrance of a famous novel where Black people are the rulers of the world. As observed by others, there are many paths opened in this one and maybe there are hesitations between different directions. Great potential however if the author fully embraced his own setting. 5 out of 5 (djaam)

Well written story in the style of Gordon Kerr-Peter Marriner . White women degraded & enslaved by Blacks . Not too long nor short but a cast of characters that should be whittled down to concentrate on 3-4 main characters .still , an excellent read if you're a fan of the genre . 5 out of 5 (Incognito)

Well written, building on the world created by "Slaves of the Bermuda Triangle" series. An obvious candidate for sequels. Lots of good characters created here. Would have rated it a "5" if there could have been a bit more focus on what happens to the "Earthy women" once they have been brought to the new world a bit more of a graphically. Not as good as the book that started Amy's story. Still full of sex, but was expecting someting like, say prison, chaingangs, forced labour, which the previous book hinted at, when she was sold at auction. I was a little disappointed, but it was a good read, and one I couldn't put down until I read it in one go. 4 out of 5 (MickyD)

Some exciting ideas in slave presentation and excitement.  Would like
to see a well developed sequel to the stories of the ex nun, Amy, Dan

Well written book in the series ( I seem to be reading them out of
order ) but noticing some faults . Overly large cast of characters ,
repetitive scenes w/ Amy , not enough focus on Dan . He's almost an
afterthought & would have loved to have seen more of his degradation
at the hands of the Pirates . Not a big fan of "Time-Slip " genre but

A lively, entertaining read, with plenty of bondage and sex. Very
brutal, especially in the earlier stages. Generally well written, but

A rather romantic view of the Barbary pirates in the 17th or 18th
century. A time is never given. A couple from 2023 encounter a storm
in the Bermuda Triangle and end up in the past being captured by
pirates. They are both trained/conditioned as slaves. The women become
very willing pleasure/breeder sex slaves, the one man we see does not
have such a good time of it. How the women can be showing signs of
pregnancy in the few weeks this story is supposed to have taken place
in I can not guess.  However it is an enjoyable story even with the
anomalies and is very much worth reading.  4 out of 5  (Stark47)
