      • Lots of characters introduced at beginning. Probably too many which might explain why physical descriptions etc. are overlooked. The FGM (not my thing!)is fairly detailed unlike some of the book's sex scenes. Maybe Mr Norman will focus on the daughter as her she embarks on enslavement right at the end of the book rather than roving around a multitude of storylines. 4 out of 5

      • Firstly to correct a sentence on page 5 : this is the fifth and not the fourth novel of this series. I still don't know what to think of this story! I cannot give less than 4 stars to this talented author but I think with this last novel we're losing some thrills that made the series a must read!l Although I really appreciate the Bermuda series - my favourites being #1 #2 and #4 - I don't understand why putting more characters in the story can help the plot. Why not developping adventures around Amy, Rebecca and Julia just like the author did in those novels? Also I didn't feel the same closeness with the main characters as Spoils of War. BTW - I think I missed some details in the storyline - i'd like to know if Rachel and Rebecca (from Spoils) are the same? Still looking for new tales from the Bermuda Universe! Keep up the good work Mr Norman! 4 out of 5 (Galveston)

      • For half a story I give half points 2.5 The potential is there. The development of the story has just begun. Then suddently without warning the end. 2 out of 5 (Ruthy)

      • I found this book fascinating without having read any other from the serie. There is some remembrance of a famous novel where Black people are the rulers of the world. As observed by others, there are many paths opened in this one and maybe there are hesitations between different directions. Great potential however if the author fully embraced his own setting. 5 out of 5 (djaam)

      • Well written story in the style of Gordon Kerr-Peter Marriner . White women degraded & enslaved by Blacks . Not too long nor short but a cast of characters that should be whittled down to concentrate on 3-4 main characters .still , an excellent read if you're a fan of the genre . 5 out of 5 (Incognito)

      • The Bermuda Triangle series is one of the best I have read. Unfortunately there are only 5 novels. I wish the author had continued this series. 5 out of 5 (Bigrdr)

STORY DESCRIPTION

Step back into Jack Norman's hard-core world beyond the Bermuda Triangle, this time the graphic misadventures of white females at the hands of black slavers in a mysterious jungle.

It proves a bad decision when US Senator Richard Washbourne, his wife Rosemary, and their beautiful daughter Paige hitch a ride to St Andrews Air Base in VC25 jet liner SAM 29500, which is returning almost empty after delivering the US President on a foreign tour. There are only 36 crew on board, and the plane is lightly-guarded, with no trouble being anticipated. But the aircraft hits a freak electrical storm and crash lands hundreds of miles off its plotted course. It comes to rest perched in the high tree tops of a strange jungle, and the expected USAF rescuers do not arrive.

The skeleton crew and passengers find themselves in hostile a world where blacks regard all white people as natural slaves. Brock, the Dark Slaver, is on the lookout for white females. Nearby tribes have their own ambitions, with frequent internecine warfare. Also, chain-gangs of naked white people work under the vicious whips of black overseers, chopping clearings out of the jungle to grow crops.

The Senator and his wife, unwisely setting off into the jungle, but they are captured, enslaved and abused by the warriors of a local tribe. Meanwhile, white male crew members are slain by the Dark Slaver's men, while the white women among them are seized and spirited away to Brock's jungle compound to be trained and sold as slaves.

Yet the remaining black crew members are left to their own considerable devices, and they convert the stranded Air Force One aircraft into their tree-top tribal village. It falls to them to protect the senator's daughter and rescue the white women from Brock the Slaver.
