Chapter 1

 

'Jack, Jack can you hear me?' I spoke with worry and panic as I crouched down to where my boyfriend lay knocked out on the cold ground. 'Jack please speak to me?' I shook his shoulders hard in desperation to try to wake him.

'Susan...Susan, is that you?' I felt relieved when I heard his voice come out all thick and drowsy.

'Yes it's me, Jack, are you ok? What happened to you, I just found you here all blacked out?'

 'I'm not sure,' I watched Jack as he sat up on the grass and scratched his head with a very confused expression on his face; I could tell that he was still dazed.

 'I don't know...I can remember feeling so happy and energised, I thought that at long last I was about to make a real first sighting after all my many years of patience and dedication...I saw nothing at first....then all of a sudden there was a bright light in this darkness, and then the vision was gone just as quickly as it came and the next thing I know you are at my side waking me up, I don't quite understand it all myself!'

'That's strange, you took me by complete surprise when you just took off in a real hurry whilst we were walking to the recommended spot you had researched, you shouted to me that you had spotted something in the distance, something I could not see for myself, you were only gone out of my sight for a few moments,' I was equally confused by the whole chain of events, 'but perhaps you just tripped over as you ran and hit your head on some object on the ground, a large stone or something?' I looked for the most rationale explanation.

'Perhaps you're right!' Jack agreed with me reluctantly as he tried to get up on his two feet, but he was shaky in his movements and I had to lend my physical support as I linked our arms together.

'Should we go home? It's all been quite dramatic so far, but I have a feeling that there will be no UFO sightings this night, we are at the spot and at the right time and nothing out of the ordinary has occurred, well apart from your fall,' I spoke hoping that my boyfriend would take my advice. I sensed that neither one of us was in the mood to wait for hours in the dark and wet open field.

'Yes let's go home; in truth all of a sudden I am feeling not quite myself and a little weak.'

'Don't worry you will be back to your old self in no time I am sure once you have rested,' I spoke encouragingly, I was glad he was cooperating with me.

 'Haaa Jack?!' I almost jumped as I felt my bottom squeezed hard. 'I thought you were feeling quite exhausted?'

 'I was,' his voice came out deeper and thicker as he looked at me with his now animated deep green eyes. 'I don't know why I just did that, all I know is that I couldn't help myself.'

 'Baby there is a time and a place for these things,' I blushed, and you are just recovering from your fall.'

'I know...I know,' he ruffled his fingers through his thick dark hair as he stopped talking for a few seconds and looked directly at me, his gaze resting on my lips intently, 'all of a sudden I feel as if I can see everything clearly... as if I can see you clearly Susan...and you're really beautiful and sexy!'

'Jacc...k,' I did not get time to finish my sentence as he took me in his arms swiftly, before bending his head down to plant a firm kiss on my lips. I first exclaimed loudly as he bit down and sucked on my lower lip, making me open up for him so our tongues could make urgent contact as we tasted from each other.
