When the ghost had become as real as Ebenezer
himself she reached out and took his hand and whispered. "Ebenezer Scrooge, my
name is Christmas Carol, I am the ghost of Christmas past, and I am here to
show you what you've missed."
Old Scrooge trembled under his bedclothes,
holding them tight to his neck. "B...but I don't think I've missed a thing." He
said. "Anyway, Christmas is just a lot of humbug!"
"Humbug eh." she said.
