THE OLD MAN

The old black man stepped out of the alley, yawned and looked around. 'Nothin' new goin' here', he thought, and looked up to see a clear sky. All traces of the rain that had been soaking the town earlier were gone. The street was still wet and there were large puddles everywhere but at least he could get from his makeshift shelter without getting wet. He stepped to the door of the partystore and smiled, 'Might have a cup o' java'. He turned to...Wham! Someone walked right into him and it nearly knocked him off his feet! He grabbed for the doorframe, catching his fall, and swayed back into the store for a moment. It was a young girl and she hadn't been so lucky, and sat sprawled on the wet sidewalk.

He recovered from his own tumble and suddenly recognized the girl. It was her! It was the girl he'd been having wet dreams about for the last several months. The sweet red head!
