The clear autumn sky behind the Corrector's window disappeared when a projection took its place. Andrak could not parse for several seconds what perceptions he was subjected to. Subjects of clearly human descent engaged in unspeakable breaches of reason before his eyes. Not only did they show clear signs of lesser emotions, they were engaged in incomprehensible animalistic rituals, where even their bodies touched and ... merged. It took Andrak all his powers of concentration to suppress the disgust welling up in him.

The Corrector scanned him, no doubt about that. This was a crucial moment to test his ability to cope with the overwhelming. Andrak noticed shivers running up and down his spine, a physical response he had not felt for a great number of years, long before his training and conditioning had begun.

Clarity and Reason. Obtain and parse all information to assess the situation. Clarity and Reason. Put the perceptions in their logical environment.
Andrak was thankful that the Corrector desisted from questioning him as to his level of equanimity. He gave him time to recuperate from the shock.

"It is logical that you have difficulties parsing the images. Your non-emotional response is exemplary. Let me proceed."
