"It's a shame a young girl like you that's going to school to better herself has to work so hard, and for crap money."

"My mom always says nothing is free in life."

"She's right. Nothing is free, and that includes these."

He held up the two textbooks.

"You bought them?" She had been a couple steps from his car, but at the sight of the books walked up to the door. "Why?"

"So you wouldn't lose out on them."

"But I can't pay you." A hopeful smile played about her lips. "Are you one of those people I see on Tik Tok who go around doing nice things for people?"

He burst out laughing.

"Goddamn, you really are a rube."

"Please don't tease me!" she whined. "This is a big deal!"

"Oh, and bratty too. Honey, you are the jackpot!"

"I don't know what you mean or what you're doing. But is there a way I can get them from you?"

"They're yours if you want them."

"But you know I can't pay for them."

"These were a $150, about half of what I planned on spending."

"Spending?"

"My budget was three hundred," he gave her a questioning look. "Tell me something, how many hours you have to work to get three hundred dollars in that pit?

"Maybe least three shifts I guess."

"How'd you like to earn these books and a hundred fifty dollars in an hour?"

"An hour?"

"Yup, all you have to do is come back to my hotel and show me what you can do with that precious mouth of yours," he licked his lips. "And put that sweet little tush in the air."

"Oh my god, that's disgusting!"

"Why?"

"Because I don't know you!"

"If you knew me, you'd probably do it for free."

"Get over yourself," she waved her hand at him. "And I'm not a whore."

"Neither are women who sell sex, that's just something the prudes came up with."

"Leave me alone," she backed away from the car. "Or I'll call the cops."

"Really? Look honey, I'm offering the books and some money to put in your pocket for something I want. That doesn't make you a whore or a slut, it makes you a smart businesswoman."

"Ugh," she grimaced. "That's a lie, and you're gross. I'm done talking."

"Gross?" he laughed. "Grow up, and don't tell me a girl with a mouth like that's never given head before."

Brooke's face grew hot at his crude words.

"You're adorable," he whistled. "You really are a good girl, aren't you?"

"I am, and its illegal too."

"Last I looked, I wasn't a cop." He reached into his pocket and produced a thick wad of cash. "You saw the books, and here's the cash. Do a good job and I might even toss in a tip." His lips curled into a smirk. "And everything after the tip."

"You're trying to bribe me with the books because you have them and now I can't get them." She told him, but with nowhere near the indignation her words should have carried, and she couldn't stop looking from the books to the money in his hand.

He shrugged. "Not going to lie, I am using them to get you on your knees for me, but I'm not forcing you, it's your choice."

On her knees, he said it so casually!

"No one's going to know except you and me and neither of us are going tell." He held the money up higher. "Money talks, kid, and everything has a price."
