EXTRACT FOR Raunchy Couples (Darren G. Burton)
Friends With Benefits
Roger wasn't actively seeking a full-on relationship. He preferred the freedoms of being single. However, he was human and he did have latent needs. Of course there were the obvious physical desires, but there was also a craving for some sort of semi-regular companionship with a woman.
That being the case, he'd joined an internet dating site a week ago and had been trawling through potential profiles ever since. It was one of those regular 'relationship orientated' sites and not an adult site. He'd tried those adult ones and nothing ever seemed to happen. Too difficult to make quality connections as the women tended to get smothered with contact from every hot-blooded male out there. Therefore, he figured he may have better luck on a regular site. There were women on there, although few and far between, who weren't seeking anything serious, and those were the ones he had been targeting.
The past two nights he'd been chatting with a local woman who was quite cute, had a slim figure and was in his preferred age bracket of twenty-five to thirty. He had just turned thirty himself and still preferred a woman, even if it was only casual, to be a few years younger than himself. They'd chatted for the first time last night, but only briefly. Tonight they were both online and chatting again. Her name was Elly and he felt pretty interested in her so far.
"So," he typed into the chat screen, "it sounds like we are seeking the same kind of arrangement."
There was a pause as Elly typed, then her response came up on screen. ""Friends with benefits?"
"Yes."
"It has its advantages, I think. I don't really want to be having one night stands. I'd rather something more regular with someone I connect with. And not just sex either, but get together for some outings or a movie from time to time."
"I totally agree," he assured her. "Sounds perfect. Exactly what I'm looking for too."
"Then we should meet up," Elly said. "See if there's any chemistry between us, as that's still important. Plus, I want to see if you look like your photos."
"And I want to see that you do too."
