Leila slowly opened her eyes, her head throbbing as she did so. Her eyes had a hard time focusing in the dark room she was in. There were bars in front of her, and as she looked around, she realized it was a cell.
"Ugh... where am I?" She whispered.
She made her way to the bars and pulled on them, seeing how well built her cage was. The bars barely budged and she kicked it angrily. The sound of her hitting the steel bounced off the walls of the cave she was in.
"Hello?!" She yelled.
She could barely remember how she arrived where she was. Only bits and pieces of her memories came back. Leila felt frustrated as she began pushing and pulling the bars.
"Hey, be quiet," a voice whispered.
Leila pushed her face against the bars and looked towards the voice. It was another caged cell across from her, a small figure within. Leila squinted, trying to see if she could see better in the dimly lit cave.
"Who are you?" Leila asked.
"Does it matter? It's all over," the female voice replied.
"Where are you from?"
"Nothing matters, not who I am, not where I'm from. Just be quiet and hope that the monsters don't come by," the voice said.
Leila heard footsteps and looked over to the side as much as she possibly could.
"Look what you did," the voice muttered angrily.
"I hear we got some fresh meat," an Orc said as he emerged from the shadows.
"Zug zug, very good," said a Troll as he rubbed his hands together.
"Too bad the Master wants to see them without letting us have a piece," the Orc complained.
"Oh well, we'll get what we get," the Troll replied.
The two stopped in front of Leila's cell, both grinning from ear to ear. The Troll pulled out a pouch and dug his hand into it. Leila stepped back, and kicked the bars again. The Troll laughed and blew some kind of power into her cell from the pouch.
Leila covered her mouth with her arm but it had no effect. She felt woozy and numb, unable to move the way she wanted to as the Orc opened her cell door. The two beasts grabbed her and lifted her into the air.
Leila was carried out of the cell and out of the cave, heading upstairs to some kind of large room. She heard the sounds of moans echoing off the walls as they carried her onward towards another room. She wanted to fight back but her body was not responsive, the powder having some kind of numbing effect.
They plopped her down and spun her around to face a familiar looking throne. Leila was barely able to lift her head to see the Lich King sitting before her on his throne. He leered down at her, enjoying the view of her naked body.
"Ah... we meet again," he said proudly.
Leila could not respond, only able to just stare at him.
"I never had a chance to thank you for finding me such a powerful warrior," he continued, pointing at someone in the shadows.
The figure lumbered forward and soon revealed himself. Leila's mind flashed back to the woods, the memories flooding back. She had been talking to Robyn about the deal with the Treants when she saw him, the hooded figure that she was looking at now. But even with the hood on, she could recognize his face.
