Her birthday BBQ with family and friends at her private, very much off-the-grid home known only to those invited and select Secret Service members she was required by law to have on hand at all times, ended, President Alyssa Hayes had just stripped out of her sweaty clothes to take a shower when her evening was interrupted in the most bizarre way imaginable. One second she was but naked and alone in the bedroom and the next two people ??" one a woman with long, curly brown hair and piercing blue eyes wearing a tailored black skirt suit, and the other completely covered in a heavy cloak obscuring every detail, popped into existence less than five feet in front of her.
Several devices on her body activated, Nicole and Reiko materialized in the President's bedroom to see the stunning, naked thirty-seven-year-old raven-haired woman staring at them in shocked disbelief. Acting quickly, Nicole put her hands up. To show she was not armed while Reiko stepped in front of the door. "Please pardon the interruption, Ma'am, but we did not think you would let two random women in to a home that isn't supposed to exist. My name is Nicole Dawson and this is my friend Reiko. I know you're gut is telling you to scream for help, and I don't blame you if you did, but the field now surrounding this room will prevent any sound from leaving. God, I'm sorry! That sounded way more sinister than intended. Please know that we mean you no harm. All we ask is for a few minutes of your time."
"W-What do you want? How did you get in here? You weren't there a second ago and then..."
"I'll explain that in just a moment," Nicole said as she bent down and picked up the president's discarded shirt and shorts. "I find you incredibly attractive and wouldn't mind you remaining naked, but something tells me you'd rather be dressed," she added as she held the garments out.
Cautiously taking the clothes, Alyssa put the shorts on first, not taking her eyes off the intruders for a second. When they didn't jump her, she put the tee shirt on and then stepped back. "How did you get in here?"
"I'll answer that in just a moment, but before that there's something I need to do to prove what I said was true so please don't be alarmed." And with that Nicole let out the loudest and longest scream she could muster. "If I lied then your husband, kids and Secret Service should be here any second."
"You just popped into existence right before my eyes. I believe you now please tell me what you're doing in my home? If you're here to..."
"Please pardon my interruption, Ma'am, but as I said before we mean you no harm. As for why we're here, well, that's to open your eyes to the truth. What would you say if I told you aliens were real and gave been visiting us for centuries? What would you say if I told you the theory of the multiverse was true and that it was possible for humans to cross the barrier into them? What if I told you there was a universe much like our own where humanity took a drastically different course and that time passes so much slower there that humans from this universe can live for thousands of years? Or that there was a universe out there with an earth populated by anthropomorphized animals? Or dinosaurs? Or one filled with immortal energy beings? Would you call me insane and have me committed, or listen and take what I have to say seriously?"
