"I know your mum Isabelle and your dad Derrick. I know where you live, and I know that you have a cute little dog called 'Beju'. If you don't do what I say, its simple - I will slit your throat here and now, and then I will go slit your mum's throat whilst your dad watches - then I'll slit his. And then when both of them are lying dying, I'll deal with the dog, and I have something special planned for him." And so any thoughts of this being a random act were out of the window. Jimmy had planned this down to the last 't'. "If you scream, or if you make any noise other than the noises I want you to make, again I will slit your throat here and now, and then I'll go to your home and finish off the family." Briney had just gone into the toilets when she heard a sound behind her. She span round and there he was, Jimmy in all his glory. Except that he was nothing glorious at all. A very slight, very unassuming man. But his voice - yes his voice was more than slight effeminate and with a 'lisp' and this kind of was out of synch with the ultra-violent way that he spoke - it was like the words of a serial murderer coming through the mouth and in the voice of a man who had been struggling with his sexuality for years. For just the briefest of brief seconds Briney was thinking that she had taken too much of that shit. For just a few seconds more what this man was saying didn't quite register with her and inside her mind she was trying to shake the stuff off so that she could deal with this.

"Who the fuck are you?" Her words came out because she was surprised, shocked and again because those words he spoke hadn't quite hit the spot yet. "Your worst nightmare." Was all Jimmy said back but it was almost like a joke because he didn't look like or sound like a nightmare at all. But then slowly, ever so slowly the words began to click in Briney's mind. "Look, if it's money you want, I don't have much. I'm a girl on a night out for fucks sakes." She knew there was something wrong. She knew that this man had issues but it would be just that little bit longer before she got to grips with what he was saying completely. This was Jimmy's modus-operandi. What he did was all of his homework first and foremost and then he made his plans. What he did was watch his next victim over time. Who's to say how long he had been watching Briney? But he knew everything about her and it was that, that was dawning on her gradually. But what he set out to do at the point of revealing himself, at the 'take point' was instil a shock into the victim so that they were at least paralysed in the mind if not the body as well. But he knew that sometimes shock didn't set in straight away. Catch someone unawares and it can take some time for them to digest what is happening. And this was very much the case with Briney. Very slowly she got that jelly feeling through her long legs.

"I don't want money. I want you." That was all he said in response and because he was talking in that almost girly voice, it seemed what he said was ludicrous. "Me? What the fuck do you want ME for? I've got nothing you want, I'm pretty sure of it!" But even as those words were slipping out of her mouth she didn't believe them. By this time she was beginning to realise that she was in a lot of trouble. She was playing and replaying the first words Jimmy had said to her over and over in her mind. "Look can't we just talk about this?" She would never be able to explain why she said those precise words. Maybe she was trying some kind of stalling tactic subliminally - she'd never know. "Oh we're going to talk. We're going to talk load and loads. But you need to know fully what position you are in and what will happen if you don't do exactly what I say. Do you understand?" Briney couldn't get over that almost whining girl like voice. "Ok, ok, I understand. What do you want me to do?" For Briney now there was something nagging at the back of her mind that all was not going to be well. And that there was not going to be a happy ending to this situation. She wouldn't know why she felt like that. She wouldn't know that this was intended. That this was what Jimmy had set out to do - to make her feel like this. In a sense to make her feel like there was no hope. "You take this pill, and go back upstairs. You don't speak to anyone, you don't re-join your friends. You go out onto the Main Street, follow the line of the building over two streets and turn left, turn first right and into a side lane. There is a blacked out SUV in than lane. It's open - get into the back of it. You'll find a pair of rigid handcuffs waiting for you. Put them on one wrist, slide your hands behind your back and click the other cuff into place. That will be awkward but you will do it. And then just sit and wait for me."

Jimmy spoke and Briney was taking in all of his words. He didn't bother to explain that he wanted her to leave the club alone because he knew there would be a search of CCTV of sorts. He didn't bother to explain to her the importance of her leaving alone and more to the point willingly. She might get that eventually, or not. But it was beginning to dawn on Briney now that she was in more than a heap of trouble. And it didn't feel good that she was being instructed to leave the building and get into a vehicle. Somehow she had managed to think that she would be ok as long as she could get back up into the club, and then raise the alarm, but that she couldn't now do that was of concern for her. What Jimmy had done was instil a shock first and foremost and then he had turned the screw just that little bit more - and he would continue to turn the screw.
