As Mavis walked further into the forest she was followed out of the fog by her zombie hunting partner Sabrina Blood. Sabrina's hair was a fiery autumn red long and wavy, her skin was pale as well with her cheeks bearing light pink rose blush to give her some color, her eyes a deep unsettling gray, her lips painted a bright red, thick black eye shadow and lashes, she wore a one piece red ruffled dress that zipped up the back, with the lace of a white ruffed petticoat peeking out from below the dress's hemline, the dress had a plunging neckline with white scalloped satin fabric running alone it's outer edge, the dress's shoulders were large and puffed out, no sleeves just a ring of white lace at the cuff of each shoulder, her upper arms were bare, and black finger-less gauntlets covered her hands and forearms, her fingernails painted a bright slimy green, a black lace corset was strapped around her midsection, on top of that was and old brown fabric belt hanging lose at an angle from her hips containing all of her gear, her legs were covered in black opaque stockings the lace tops with the bottom of her garter belt straps holding them up could be seen just below the edge of her white petticoat, finally her feet nestled into a pair of shinny light blue high heels.

"I smell rotting blood," announced Sabrina as she sniffed the air. Then they heard the crack of a gunshot.

"I still don't know how you can do that," replied Mavis.

"It's a honed skill," she answered with a smile.

Then another gun shot, a pause of silence in the foggy night air. Again the crack of a gunshot followed by silence. The intermittent gun shots becoming more frequent. Then the single thunderous cracks stopped and Mavis and Sabrina could hear the distinctive sound of automatic fire off in the distance.

Mavis turned from Sabrina and took off running in the direction she had been traveling with Sabrina taking off a moment latter in pursuit. Mavis dashed through the foggy and wet forest the thick soles of her boots pounding down on the wet leaves. She vaulted over the wet moss covered boulders water droplets splashing up against her bare smooth legs. As were Mavis seemed to fight against the forest terrain Sabrina seemed to just gently glide through it as if it was no hindrance to her at all.

The two girls broke from the tree line emerging from the forest looking down a grassy slope into a small town that had been abandoned at the start of the zombie invasion. They watch as human troops clad in black tactical gear and heavily armed engaged against the zombie horde they had been tracking. Mavis then heard a wrenching sound coming from behind her. She turned to see Sabrina doubled over puking her brains out as she collapsed down onto her hands and knees. Sabrina reached up with her right hand and wiped her lips off with the back of her wrists. Sabrina turned and looked up at Mavis as she gasped for breath.
