EXTRACT FOR Celebrity Interview (Nicola Nichols)
When they returned to the main party, Lacey found that it was more or less what she had expected, based on the tabloids - more or less total debauchery. People were fucking the slaves and each other, while others stood around chatting as if this was an ordinary cocktail party - assuming that at an ordinary cocktail party, when you wanted a drink, you discovered that the bartender was giving someone else a blowjob and you had to get your own.
She circulated, chatting with people, and getting horny again. She paused for a time to watch a hot guy taking some starlet type from behind as she sucked off another hot guy. Finally, circling them for a better view, she met a couple standing arm in arm watching. The woman was in her forties and he was in his early fifties. They were both good looking and the costumes suited them in an odd way. She introduced herself and they seemed surprised and pleased. "We read your book," the man said.
"The sex scenes that come at the end are breathtaking," the woman said. "Jeff told us the party theme came from your book. I was excited when he said you'd be here. I hoped we'd get to meet you." The man's eyes told her that meeting her wasn't the end of what he had in mind.
"I didn't know I'd be here myself until a short time ago. But Jeff tries to think of everything."
The woman had a twinkle in her eye. "The costumes are certainly nice. Sexy."
"You can thank my publisher and the cover photographer for that."
"Jeff mentioned that he wanted us to have an opportunity to talk to you about bringing the book to life in other ways." She raised an eyebrow. "I think he has a movie in mind. Of course, movies need investors. Have you considered what a movie of your book would be like?"
She inhaled and held the breath. Obviously, these were some of the important people Jeff mentioned. "I know I like that idea very much, but then I would - it's my book. I think that it might make a powerful, sexy movie."
They nodded. "Jeff said Billy Kilder wants to direct it."
Keep nodding, she thought. The woman seemed to remember something and smiled wistfully. "That's what he told me. I'm a fan of his work."
"Jeff mentioned that to me as well. I'm sure he'd be brilliant."
The man took Lacey's arm. "Why don't we go inside and talk about this in more detail?"
She noticed that his loincloth was tenting out. If loincloths came back into fashion, she could get used to it. It gave a girl an advantage in negotiating. Maybe she could start a new clothing line. "That sounds wonderful."
