Thailand was a strange country. Deeply religious and conventional in one half, yet the lines of go-go bars suggested otherwise, and as Annabelle wound her way through the throngs of tourist and locals that frequent the red-light district, she couldn't help but think about what she was about to do. 

No one started off the college years expecting by the end of it to have a job in the CIA, but her fluency in Arabic, something she picked up from when she was a child proved to be the killer skill the CIA wanted. She picked the language up from the Egyptian nanny that her family had hired, and if she wanted to, she could speak like a local. 

That value normally would make her a good field agent, but she wasn't very athletic, and washed out basic training, ending up as an analyst like many who didn't pass the particularly gruelling stamina testing course. She was content on being an analyst, she had doubt that she could ever kill anyone. 

It wasn't something that she even admitted to the on-set psychiatrist that does the evaluation. As an analyst, she came across all the unsavoury things that the CIA had done in the name of protecting America, she understood the need but again, suspected that she couldn't do it herself.  Part of that is why she had a lot of doubt when Jonas came at her with the crazy puppygirl scheme.

She went through the dossier, checked on the internet, and did almost everything to read about the so-called kink. It was simply put, woman acting as she was a puppy. Staying naked all the time seems to be the standard, since of course, by the logic, that was the natural state of being a puppy. Though she came across those that was clothed in full black leather though, a kink within a kink. In the end, she decided to put that aside, and requested a meeting with Boonsak first. 

Which is why she got to be in Thailand in the first place. She travelled using her cover ??" her passport marked her as a college girl travelling to Thailand on a lark, back story is because her boyfriend dumped her. If everything goes well with Boonsak, she would technically disappear and be on a transport to Chiang Mai, where Boonsak's puppy school was located. 

To her surprise, the Chapraya Hotel wasn't some dingy back alley hostel, but an honest to goodness four star located in the middle of the red-light district, complete with a doorman who greeted her as she entered the establishment. She went to the front desk, informed them that she was there to meet Madam Nokrapon and was quickly ushered to the penthouse, but strangely enough, the Bellboy quickly left after he showed her the door to the penthouse. 

A knock later, she found out why. The door opened, revealing a naked white woman, on all fours. Annabelle had just met her first puppygirl.
