EXTRACT FOR First Time Facesitting - Volume 4 - 3 Book Bundle (Scarlett Steele)
Jennifer cleaned her apartment and ran to the market to buy food for her date with Ellis later. He'd been her sweetheart for almost a year now, and she was thoroughly in love with the man. He had a mess of chocolate brown hair on top of his head, normally sticking straight out, or laying over in ringlets. If his hair were straight, it would cascade past his shoulders. Jennifer thought they made a cute couple, with her short red hair, her elvish sharp features coming from her Northern Ireland heritage.
Ellis sent a text he'd be a little late to dinner because he was in hot pursuit on his current thriller. The man lived his make-believe worlds and his passions burned deep. Jennifer loved sitting by him while he adamantly explained the details of his current plots. Her work as a waitress wasn't nearly as thrilling as Ellis' work. She served Italian cuisine to high-end patrons, and loved serving wines, and the best in Italian foods.
Choosing the fresh calamari, Jennifer wanted to start the meal with the appetizer and then flow into her own version of baked lasagna and Italian crème cake for dessert. She learned a lot about cooking international foods from her job. Before she was a waitress at the Italian restaurant, she worked at a Japanese steak house.
The dangly diamond earrings set the look as Jennifer fastened the button at her breasts on her emerald silk blouse. Even though they were dining in, she enjoyed dressing up for the occasion. Tonight, they were celebrating the plot breakthrough Ellis had on his current novel. There was always a reason worth celebrating.
The bread machine dinged, the aroma of fresh-baked bread wafted throughout the small apartment. Jennifer smiled as she pulled it from the machine and set it on the wire rack to cool. She set about making the garlic spread and chopping the vegetables for the salad. Inside the oven, the lasagna sizzled. Next, she dipped the calamari into the batter and deep-fried it just in time, for her doorbell sounded.
"Silly man, you have a key, just come right in," Jennifer said as she swung the door wide.
