He said, "This is where you will sleep until you make other arrangements." He opened the door to the room. It was a small room but it had a lantern, which he lit upon entering, a bed and a desk. "I'll bring your things in later. Hope this is ok." He looked at me. I looked down. "Ok, well. I will leave you to it." Lucas dropped the blankets then turned to walk out. 

 

"It will do fine. Thank you." I said looking up slightly but still making very little eye contact. He had left the room, so I began to undress. I turned my back to the door toward the light of the lantern. My dress dropped to the floor and I stood there and let the light flicker over my body. I glanced down at my nipples. They shined in the light. I tossed my hair then twisted and tied it into a bun over my head. I walked over to the basin on the desk opposite the bed. I bathed in the water to forget the day. I forgot where I was for the moment. I stared into the ceiling realizing that this was the first day of the rest of my life. My new life outside of Daddy and the farm.

 

I was completely alone, I thought. I didn't realize that Lucas stood there in the doorway. He watched me wash my body. Once I realized, I didn't stop. I pretended not to see him there. I felt so brazen, so alive. I ran the washcloth over my breasts, letting the water pour down them. I traced the outline of my body until I turned around a little so that I could "catch" him watching. I pretended to be shook up. "Oh my goodness." I reached for my clothes. 

 

"Don't cover up. Let me look at you." He said. I didn't move an inch. The tall, handsome man dropped my bags at the door. He made his way over to me. Before I knew it, those hands I had been dreaming of were all over my body. I closed my eyes and just let it happen, wondering what would happen next. I had never touched
