Criminal slavery had already been well
established for over two generations when a blight that destroyed a major
proportion of the wheat crop all over the world brought about a worldwide
famine. This was then exacerbated by
climate changes that brought ruin to many other parts of the food chain
resulting in a worsened situation everywhere.
Rather than allowing its population to starve, Russia decided to permit
the selling of younger family members as slaves.
Slaves are fed Slave Chow, a pelletised processed food
that is produced very cheaply from second and third grade raw materials
including plankton, other grains not affected by the blight, discarded
vegetables and even food scraps from restaurants and the like. It was still plentiful enough but tasteless
and not at all pleasant as it sometimes caused nasty ructions in the slave's
belly as it reconstituted into real food and no free person would willingly dream
of eating it.
Wealthy Russians were delighted to buy the better-looking
young people and use them as criminal slaves had been for decades.
The teenager had to be at least eighteen and still
resident in its parent's home and could be sold until the age of twenty-five.
Russia solved its food shortage and other countries
quickly followed suit.
At first of course, altruistic teenagers
volunteered and tearful parents very reluctantly agreed as governments were
powerless to overcome the food shortage but then, when they saw the way the
slaves were treated, that first rush to save the family abated and parents had
to make a choice: sell one or two of their offspring or face hunger for the
rest.
This situation continued for a decade until scientists
found a remedy for the blight and governments around the world finally agreed
to drastically cut carbon dioxide emissions which then quickly halted the slide
to world oblivion.
The food chain gradually repaired itself but by then,
institutional slavery of young people, eighteen to twenty-five, had become
established in people's minds and it had also developed into a new and very
welcome means of social control.
All young people were taught from their earliest
understanding of such things that if they didn't behave, apply themselves to
their schoolwork and do their part in the family household, then slavery for the
rest of their lives was a very real option for their parents - or by the state
if the youngster's behaviour merited an appearance in court.
It had a profound effect on society. Children of all ages were now far better
behaved; were polite to their elders and worked hard, both at school and in the
home. Juvenile crime became a rarity and
people, all over the world remarked how wonderful the institution had been to
bring back the joys or parenting that had become a nightmare for many families.
School results rose sharply and continued to do so over
the years. Children dressed smartly and
gave up their seats on public transport to older people, once more. In short, it was a huge success all round.
Of course there would always be misfits: those who know what
they are doing is wrong (hence the continued existence of adult criminal slaves
everywhere) but continue doing it anyway.
If it was serious, they end up before the juvenile courts and were
sentenced to criminal slavery although as minors, they are confined to special
workhouses for children where they are permitted to wear minimal clothing
(slaves are naked, permanently and totally and are denuded of all body and
facial hair).
But now, all schooling is forgotten and they work at
whatever tasks their supervisors allot them.
They are not violated. Until they
reach the aged of eighteen, their welfare is closely monitored and they are
protected from predators both from among their supervisors and their
inmate-colleagues but in all other respects, their lives are dreary and
arduous.
The activities inside these institutions are widely and
often reported and aired on government and private media outlets, the aim being
to let every new generation of teenagers know what faces them if they err. And every school regularly takes its classes,
at least twice in their school life, to visit the local such juvenile
institution to see at first hand the misery of life inside.
All this has led to a vast improvement in people's lives
generally. No longer do elderly folk fear
to go out at night or others to catch a train lest he or she be assaulted by
gangs of young hoods for their few dollars.
Criminal slavery had been instituted to solve a massive
worldwide problem that included religious terrorism and an explosive expansion
of serious and middle-ranking crime. The
courts were so overloaded that trials were a mockery but in any case, the civil
libertarians had so emasculated the penal code and the administration of
justice that criminals just laughed at the courts.
And prisons, which were bursting at the seams and
overcrowded to the point of danger, were seen as holiday homes for the criminal
classes and in any case were just breeders of more crime.
Governments had had enough and at a world conference
called by the United States, it had finally been agreed that criminal slavery
was the only answer. And it must be so
draconian in its nature that criminals would truly fear it as they hadn't any
other penalty imposed over the last two centuries!
This was why criminal slaves were stripped naked upon
sentence, their bodies permanently depilated nude below their eyes and were to
be denied all clothing of any kind for the rest of their lives.
The one exception to this hard-and-fast rule was that if
the slave was to be made to work out in the snow, his feet and lower legs could
be sprayed with ThermacoatŪ, an aerosol spray that coated his skin with a
transparent plastic that kept out the cold.
It was designed to last a week and then simply fell off. It was cheap enough and worked well and as it
was a crystal clear plastic, wasn't even noticeable.
And so, when juvenile slavery was dreamed up to solve a
food shortage, no one thought to differentiate between the two. A slave was a slave was a slave! As the juvenile grew older there would be no
difference anyway, so why bother to separate them now?
It should be stressed here that a criminal slave was to
be worked hard for long hours at any task his owner may assign to him or
her. There were to be no holidays; no
weekends. Fifteen hours a day, minimum;
seven days a week, absolute! No
exceptions.
It was also tacitly accepted that a slave might be used
to pleasure her (or his) owner in any way they wished. Thus a straight man could be made to take his
male owner's cock up his arse or down his mouth and if he objected in any way
at all, he was punished.
It was explicitly enacted that an owner had the absolute
right to discipline his property. In
fact, it was expected for an owner was totally responsible for his slaves'
actions and he could be charged with an offence if it could be shown he had
been lax in the way he controlled them.
Owners were therefore very careful to ensure obedience in
their herd, many setting up an elaborate punishment suite in some prominent
part of the slave quarters and when a punishment was ordered, all the herd were
assembled to watch and have explained to them the reasons for it.
An owner often administered the punishment himself, but
if not, he was always present to oversee it and even female owners very often
caned or whipped a slave themselves, just to underline their personal
commitment to the law and to proper slave discipline.
So this was the milieu that greeted the
institution of juvenile slavery and I can continue my story on a more
personal basis...
My name is Robert Winthrop and I recently
inherited a vast fortune from my father and mother who were killed in an air
accident over South Africa last year.
They were wonderful parents and I was in no way spoiled as a child. I had my chores to do and I did them
willingly. I could hardly do otherwise
given the environment, could I? But in
any case, it is in my nature to want to do my part and I worked hard at school,
attending The Kings School in Sydney and topping the class all the way
through. I then studied law and
economics at Sydney University obtaining First Class Honours in both degrees
which I finished four years ago.
My family had been among the first free settlers to come
to this country and have done very well for themselves in all of the generations
that followed those pioneers. They
started as graziers but soon moved into other areas including banking,
commerce, the media and eventually into an air and
shipping line. All of these enterprises
still exist and I and my sister, Joan are both involved in their management.
My family has never been ostentatious though and shunned
a huge corporate headquarters, preferring to run things from home. Home, to us, is a beautiful house named
Huntley in Vaucluse which is Sydney's most affluent suburb straddling the South
Head at the Harbour entrance. It still
sits on the original grant by Governor Hunter in 1799 and has never been
subdivided.
Joan also excelled at school and university and studied
Commerce, also obtaining an Honours degree.
We have both lived normal lives, going out with friends and engaging in
the usual teenage and early-twenties girl- and boy-friendships but nothing
serious has emerged from any of them as yet as we are
both conscious of how our wealth affects others. We are very close though and she continues to
live here although the house and most of the estate came to me as the oldest
but Joan has a $100 million trust fund that will keep her in style all her
life.
As I said, the bulk of the estate came to me but she and
I keep a joint watch on our business affairs from our little suite at
home. I have a PA, John Smart, who was Dad's
most trusted aide and he has his own assistant.
Joan also has her PA, Anne Bentley, who has been her best friend all her
life and also studied Commerce at university. Both John and Anne live-in in the guest wing
of the house while Joan and I occupy suites in the family wing.
John does not manage the house, however. That task is undertaken by Simpson who was my
father and mother's butler all my life.
He is now the only paid indoor servant (although I don't consider him as
such. He was always my confidante as a
growing boy who was too scared to talk to his father about some things and I
would trust him with my life.
The rest of the staff at the huge house and extensive
grounds are now slaves for they quickly took over the functions of any
remaining paid servants very soon after the introduction of criminal
slavery. They are many but I won't
introduce them until they figure in my story which is more about juvenile
slavery than the adult kind.
Why am I writing about this subject in the first
place? Because it is a field that has
interested me from its beginnings about ten years ago when I was just eighteen
myself. The other reason is that I
actually like writing! When I was
studying law, particularly, I really threw myself into what I hoped were
scholarly dissertations on my subject of the moment and the same with my
Economics papers. Apparently, my
professors, lecturers and tutors thought so anyway for I always received good
marks for them.
Our slaves have so far at least been from the ranks of
the criminal slaves and we acquired each of them from the State Slave Centre
(SSC) in Redfern, an inner city suburb.
As my parents had no wish for a pack of low-class criminals to serve us,
they instructed Simpson to go for professional criminals, those who had
defrauded their employers or others and who had reasonably good looks and
demeanour.
Simpson, as was his wont, then researched the new law on
slavery and also spoke to many of his colleagues whom
he knew had been charged with a similar task and he learned the ins and outs of
initial selection, conditioning and training a slave rather than a paid servant. Ours were departing in ones and twos as they
recognised this class of employment was rapidly disappearing as more and more
employers replaced them with slaves. My
parents would never have done that but our servants left anyway.
Simpson embraced his task as he always did, with aplomb
and skill and each slave acquired quickly learned that he was no longer a
professional accountant or whatever, but now nothing more than a lowly naked
slave.
He trained them, not only in the tasks he installed them
in, but also physically. The physical
appearance of a clothed servant is usually of no moment to his employer, but a
naked slave is a quite different matter.
Being permanently and totally naked and nude, his physical appearance is
of prime importance and so Simpson set them exercise sessions in which he honed
and toned them wonderfully.
All this was before my time but I learned of it from Dad
who wanted Joan and I to understand how the slaves fitted in to our household
and what we could and could not do with them.
We had to treat them strictly but fairly, for
example. We were not allowed to touch
their bodies except in the course of an action and we were certainly not
permitted to use them sexually. Neither
Mother nor Dad did this, I am sure of that and I don't think Simpson or John
did either. That was the measure of their
ethics and of the way they hoped Joan and I would behave also - and we did.
What sexual experiments she and I tried out, we did with
our current boy and girlfriend and none of mine allowed me to go all the way so
by the time of their death, last year, I was still at least a nominal
virgin. Joan didn't tell me her state
and I didn't ask.
At their death, the slaves in the house became mine and I
could have tried it out with any one of them.
We had a mix of male and female slaves just as the original servants had
been, but I still didn't want to have sex with any of them and when I asked
Joan what she felt, she blushed, admitted her virginity but agreed with my
thoughts...
