An interview with Ardie Stallard

Introduce yourself – who you are, a bit of background etc

Ardie Stallard is a reclusive writer living in the dark hills and hollows of the Appalachian Mountains of the southeastern United States. He's had both novels and short story collections published by Pink Flamingo Media of Michigan (https://eroticbooknetwork.com) and available on this site. Hopefully there'll be more to follow in fiction4all.com’s adult imprints.

What is your latest book called

Amazon Submissive

What inspired you to write your latest book

I have a bit of a fetish about strong women who discover submissive tendencies within themselves, as well as strong women finding themselves in embarrassing situations and needing assistance and care, and I indulged all that in the writing of this novel. In addition, I like writing about history, even when there’s a good deal of fantasy included.

Give us a glimpse into your typical writing routine

To me, writing is a psychologically necessary second vocation. It starts with ideas fermenting in my mind, eventually leading to them being put to paper and then edited and edited again… and finally, hopefully, the result is a piece I’m not ashamed to share.

What is your favourite line or quote from your latest book

“You bastard,” she whispered, “why am I getting the suspicion that you’re really going to enjoy fondling my ass for the foreseeable future?”

How do you work through a writing block?

Generally, by letting the blocked project rest for a bit and trying to start a new one. Most of the time that’s eventually worked, too.

How did you learn about Fiction4All – if you can remember!

I found out about it from the publisher of my first seven novels and two short story collections, Pink Flamingo Media of Michigan, USA.

What do you want readers at home to take away from your latest book

Hopefully for those interested in or simply curious about BDSM and spanking, a little pleasure, excitement, and inspiration.

Describe your latest book in one word

Erotic!

What was the best advice you received while writing your latest book, if any

I’m still waiting on that good advice from somebody! ;)

What are you writing next?

A book based on an American news item from last year regarding abuse of corporal punishment in Southern schools (though all my major characters, especially those seen being disciplined, are eighteen or over). It’s to be called “Spank Squad: Jessica Brokamp, Derriere Detective,” and is a sequel of sorts to my “Switch” series at Pink Flamingo Media and featuring the same characters. Hope that either Silver Moon Adult Fiction, Fetish World Books, or both, like both my submissions to them.
