To earn the money to pay off the mortgage and make herself independent she trains women to be multi talented as lovers, slave girls or other service workers. Dr. Rivka Levinthal has accepted a job as chief medical person on the planet. The perks of the job are overwhelming at first but she can’t help being spoiled by the pleasures around her. Jamie Abrams creates a world of women with few pesky men to upset the balance. There’s surprisingly little infighting among the women as they assume multiple roles to please one another. Madame Sin herself if a multi faceted character who originally trained as a psychologist. She’s surprisingly gentle to the ones she likes even though she perfects a tough façade to deal with outsiders. There are plenty of erotic scenes mixed with futuristic politics that seem surprisingly like modern day third world tactics. The main characters are all management personnel who enjoy the perks of the lifestyle. We get to know a few of the characters well but there are almost too many to keep track of them all. The games they play and their struggles to conform to rules and new roles are sometimes done with great humor as the author helps them build their own little world. This is definitely an interesting fantasy.
