STORY DESCRIPTION

Several months ago Jason moved to Phuket, Thailand to get away from it all. Before moving he offered an open invitation to his neighbors to come an visit. "Really?" his neighbor Lin Fong asked, surprised at his generosity.

"Sure," Jason replied. "Come whenever you want and stay as long as you like. I've got a big two-bedroom apartment, two bathrooms and a split floor plan so you'll have all the privacy you want."

"Wow! OK, I'll be in touch," Lin Fong answered, but in truth Jason never expected her to follow through. After all, he barely knew his neighbor, except on the rare times when he'd wave hello to her in the mornings on his way to the office.

Much to his surprise Lin Fong did come to Phuket to visit, for three weeks. On the second night of her stay Jason heard a knocking on his closed bedroom door. It was Lin Fong.

"Jason, I feel so silly waking you up, but the light in my bedroom keeps coming on," she said.

Jason thought she was having nightmares caused by her long travel time and trying to sleep in a new place.

"Look, why don't you sleep on the other side of the bed?" he offered. He had a huge king-sized bed all to himself, and he figured that with the way Lin Fong was dressed, wrapped in her gray flannel pajamas, romance was the furthest thing from her mind. "I promise I'll be the perfect gentleman," Jason added, meaning every word.

One thing quickly led to another, and the two quickly became lovers, spending the entire 500 hours of Lin Fong's visit together, and had come to know each other better than most couples ever do. Jason doesn't want to lose her and vows to visit every month, even if it means flying halfway across the world.
