| STORY DESCRIPTION The feminist revolt appears to be over with the conspirators arrested and awaiting their punishments. For David Williams this period is dominated by two events. Firstly his father suffers a stroke and David dashes to his bedside. Whilst there he meets Lavinia Trelawny who is in danger of being enslaved but who owns a metalwork company that could be the answer to one of David's business problems.
The second event is a request for help from the Home Office. He is visited by the Home Secretary, Elizabeth Page, who wishes to recruit the services of his mother and himself to help counter a threat to female enslavement - the need to ensure judicial punishments involving corporal punishment are standardised across all Public Places of Female Punishment. Elizabeth Page has more than a passing interest in the operation of a PPFP and is delighted to be shown the Playroom, where she has a pleasurable encounter with Nazira and Serena.
