Generally I am a fan of Argus's writing. I am happy with the girl
being slapped and spanked, even a mild flogging. But this book is a
much harder Argus. Mainly about the absolute degradation of the
subject girl to the point where she is just a 'thing'. I finished the
book, but only to see what happened to her. Disappointed that the man
did not get a suitable retribution for his treatment of her. I did not
like this story and so cannot recommend it to others, though some may
like the hardness of the account. 2 out of 5 (Sooty)
