STORY DESCRIPTION

The haughty superheroine, Night Lynx, prowls the streets of Cosmopolis as its undefeated guardian angel. The ice-cold telepath solves crimes with clinical efficiency, and defeats criminals with contemptuous ease. Her peerless physical prowess, coupled with her potent psychic meta-powers, makes her a source of constant dread to the criminal fraternity. Working closely with the city police force, the dark and gritty vigilante has been brutally effective at cleaning up the city streets.

But a new slaver cartel, named the Black Rose, has been growing in both power and influence within the city. When the cartel abducts the police commissioner's family it falls to Night Lynx to quickly find their location before they come to any harm. With her usual masterful skill, she picks up the trail to catch up to the abducted women - she needs to extract the information from a seedy Black Rose pimp, named Diego Cortez, as quickly as possible to stand a chance of saving the day.

However, the fastest way to interrogate the pimp and extract the information she needs is by using her telepathic powers to enter his mind - and the decision puts her into a debauched battle of wits with a devious pervert with an unspeakably sleazy imagination. As the heroine's resolve is tested like she has never been tested before, it begins to dawn on her that the line between captor and captive is very thin indeed, and her own mind is not the impenetrable fortress that she thinks it is.

Can Night Lynx overcome the devious tricks of the pimp and save the abducted women, or has she jumped into a trap that will doom her to join them?
