This book follows on with the same slave and clients introduced in Roman Slave, though could be read as a stand alone story.

In the near future pleasure workers are legally allowed to ply their trade and some, like Kami, have upped their game by paying for an expensive implant. This allows them to sink fully into the fantasy requested by their clients.

Now Kami has been asked to play the role of a Roman Slave during the time of the Empire. With the implant, she won't remember this is but a role during the scene, and it's why those few workers with the implant command such a high rate of pay.

In the role of Julia, a slave, she must adapt to her new life in Rome but with that comes new challenges. With the Master busy with business the Mistress decides to find her own entertainment.

A gladiator is summoned to perform with the promise of Julia's body as his prize if he wins the match. The idea of serving such a brute both terrorizes and arouses Julia but as a slave she has no choice but to obey.
