STORY DESCRIPTION

A KAFKAESQUE TRAGI-COMEDY OF SEX AND (IN)JUSTICE!

Innocent and pretty Josephine K. is accused of committing a criminal by the state and is soon trapped in a chilling paradox. Broken by relentless sexual interrogation, she wants to confess her guilt to end her anguish, but nobody will tell her what law she has actually broken. The only way to find out is to confess to her crime, but she cannot confess because she does not know what she has done wrong, and until she confesses she can never be properly punished, and if she cannot be punished then she cannot be free again.

Josephine is released on bail - after paying a judge with sex - while her nameless crime is investigated further. But the conditions and restrictions are grim. She is stripped of her citizen's rights and turned into a non-person. A red metal collar bearing the official seal of the court, her name and ID number is locked about her neck. The only clothes she can wear are a pair of ankle boots, a knee-length belted coat and a peaked cap. All were made of thin, soft transparent plastic. Even the coat buttons were transparent. No underwear. Nothing else!

Followed by the sinister mirror-shaded secret police wherever she goes, Josephine roams the city exposed and penniless, begging for help from friends and relations. But as a suspected criminal and non-person, she receives only fear, rejection or exploitation in return. Without money, all she has to offer in payment for goods or services is her body. Even worse, without any rights, she can be snatched off the street by anybody who wants to make use of her in any way they desire.

Josephine is subject to multiple humiliations and degradations at the hands of the police, court officials, a judge, a lawyer, a doctor and total strangers, who all take advantage of her. Gradually, however, she uncovers the shocking truth about the function of state as she is slowly driven back to the only person who might help her find out what her nameless crime was. But only at the cost of her total sexual submission!
