STORY DESCRIPTION

Mysterious and controversial artist Belphegor's Flesh and Depravity exhibition was the most provocative art show in the world! It featured installations called limbo tanks, that seemed to contain re-enactments of real-life scenarios involving female degradation and anguish whose intense emotions spectators felt as though it was happening to them. And now it was opening in London.

Ambitious young reporter Victoria Somersby was determined to get an exclusive interview with the mysterious Belphegor, but the conditions he imposed were strict and bizarre. The interviewer had to be an attractive female aged between 18 and 35 who must submit a solo recording of herself naked performing an obscene, humiliating or painful act of no less than ten minutes duration, which she had created especially to prove how much she wanted the privilege of an audience.

Victoria submits just such a recording and is granted her exclusive. But she finds there is a further price to pay to prove her sincerity, and she must voluntarily strip naked before Belphegor takes her for a private gallery tour of his installations, accompanied by a flock of his adoring female assistants, who were popularly referred to as his demonettes. Inside the gallery they go about naked except for stick-on demon tails and horns and high heeled red shoes with padlocked ankle straps. Their nipples were ringed with chains strung between them, from which hung small silver bells. Their pubes were clean shaven, and their outer labia lips had been painted a bright red, while their hair was all bobbed, collar length and bright purple. They also served as Belphegor's private film crew, documenting every stage of Victoria's intimate tour. She found their presence deeply disturbing. Still, if she could see it through, it will be the scoop of her career.

But Belphegor is far more masterful than Victoria could have imagined and wants to turn her into a living work of art as payment for his time. As her body is transformed step by step, Victoria is immersed in his limbo tank scenarios. She experiences the sensations of a woman taken for a naked ride on a lonely moor, an innocent novice on a corrective cross, two women trapped in a modern punishment chamber, the ordeal of a seductive oriental golden egg, a Halloween nightmare, and many more scenes of sexual depravation. But was this art, exploitation, or something far worse? And where does life end and art begin?
