 | STORY DESCRIPTION A secluded mansion in the woods of northern Sweden that once belonged to a timber baron, behind which still stands the old whipping post to which disobedient servants were shackled and flogged. Now it is home to a Swedish academic, ?ke Persson, who investigates and reports on human rights abuses in dictatorships around the world. To remind him of what goes on in those evil regimes, or so he claims, he has a museum of interrogation devices in a locked room in the basement.
This place is chosen as the spot to debrief a high-ranking North Korean defector, a woman who ran several prison camps in that regime. To assist in this debriefing, Persson recruits Barbara Moore, an American academic who studies human rights and sex trafficking. She arrives, accompanied by her lover, a Swedish policewoman, Gun Thorell who helped rescue Barbara when she was abducted by a shadowy organization known as The Syndicate.
The Syndicate has been hired to eliminate the North Korean defector. In addition, bent on revenge, they plan to spirit Barb and Gun away to a horrible fate in some hellhole. They arrive on their mission during a terrible blizzard that cuts off the house from any possibility of outside rescue.
Once you start this spine-tingling, highly erotic tale, you will find yourself unable to put it down.
