STORY DESCRIPTION

In the very distant future, humans occupy an interstellar Commonwealth spanning thousands of solar systems, sharing the galaxy with fifteen other humanoid species and two non-humanoid, with more still to be discovered. Some of these cultures have much in common with one another, but all except the humans share one characteristic, a major imbalance between the sexual needs of males and females. In most species, the latter are 'in season' for only a few days in each cycle, and are impenetrable at other times. Centuries before humans ventured into space, one alien race, known as the S'sith- began abducting people to be trained as sex slaves, going some way towards removing the principal source of disharmony and instability in their society. Much later, a brief conflict results in the S'sith ceasing their raids, but retaining their existing slave population and the right to breed and trade in humans. Much later still, a dozen other species have slave populations, and the S'sith monopoly in the trade and commercial breeding of humans has made them the richest and most powerful civilisation in the galaxy. The burgeoning demand for their products has driven them to seek virgin planets outside the home galaxy for use exclusively as slave farms.

Jenni has led a long and very productive life as a pleasure slave belonging to a powerful member of the S'sith administration. Highly intelligent, ingenious and versatile, she has pioneered mating techniques with species previously deemed impossible, and thus made major contributions to S'sith prosperity and her owner's influence. As she reaches the end of her working life he chooses her to be one of the first brains to be installed in a new generation of giant inter-galactic passenger and cargo vessels, built to service the staff and bring home the products of the distant colonies. She has to learn a whole new way of being, with the vessel forming her body and responding to her instincts and reflexes, and two dozen 'avatars', in human bodies under her control, to serve the passengers as sex-slaves. She needs to devise ways of keeping her charges entertained, fit and healthy during voyages lasting up to three Old Earth months, and with the aid of two slaves that she has been allowed to recruit herself, to devise a series of exciting, sexually-charged games and competitions.

Her maiden voyage is a fascinating, but not a dangerous adventure. Her first very long-distance mission is, however, to a planet that was not properly explored before it was settled, and she finds herself standing between humanoid life and catastrophe, making decisions for which she was never trained or designed.

This story is completely free-standing, but shares many of its assumptions about inter-stellar travel with Slaves of Atlantis (2019). It contains numerous scenes of non-consensual sex and other related activities.
