I was hoping for a much better book. Why the author brought in every
few chapters about people playing a game, detracted from the book. I
was very disappointed. 2 out of 5 (Mandy1) Another great story by Velvetglove! It reads like The Man in the High
Castle meets The Handmaid's Tale! 5 out of 5 (UncleGlen) | Style: Male Dom - M/F, Bondage /BDSM Enslavement Published: 11 / 2021 Available Formats to Download: MOBI, EPUB, MS Word, PDF, MS Reader, RTF, HTM Available for members to read online in the Reading Room which is part of the member library

 | STORY DESCRIPTION Believe it or not, it's already 81 years since Britain and Germany signed the Armistice that brought an end to the celebrated 'Blitzkreig of Britain'. That infamous one-page truce was signed by Heinrich Himmler and King George VI at exactly 11 o'clock on Monday, 11th November 1940.
Of course, signing this island's unconditional surrender was the final act of the last British monarch. Plain old 'Bert' Windsor was allowed to retire and live a quiet life in a gardener's cottage in Cornwall.
Meanwhile, the Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler (b. 1889 ??" d. 1978), didn't bother to attend the Armistice ceremony. In fact he only ever visited these shores once, back in 1966, when New Prussia lost to Germany in that year's football World Cup Final. Instead, Heinrich Himmler (b. 1900 ??" d. 2000), who spent the second half of his life residing in Windsor Castle, always represented the Fatherland at important provincial occasions until the turn of the millennium.
As all schoolchildren know, the crushing of Britain in November 1940 officially marked the end of the War of Western Europe. From that point on, Germany was able to focus all of its efforts on its 'War in the East' with what used to be called Russia and, eventually, in alliance with Japan, the end game; the Conquest of the Americas.
'Invasion of the Wife Snatchers' records, in considerable and graphic detail, events that follow Britain's capitulation. Centred on a comfortable residence in London's Bolton Square, owned by an upper-middle class English family, the lives of Francis and Angela Pettigrew are altered forever when their house is requisitioned by the German Military.
SS Hauptmann Dieter Faust (b. 1915 ??" d. 2001) and the less well documented SS Oberleutnant Hans Gerwig are young officers at the time, in charge, and they don't take no for an answer.
Meanwhile, historians often wonder, looking back in time is there any hope for the New Prussians, especially their wives and girlfriends? Well, they have two chances; slim and none. Their slim chance is a character called Gabriel. Armed with nothing more than a piece of plastic, can Gabe alter the course of history?

Velvetglove is truly a gentle soul but with a hidden side that is expressed in BDSM fiction. She has been writing erotica since 2005 but only recently began making stories available commercially. As a writer she identifies as a switch-bitch; ie. as both dominant and submissive, female and male, romantic and merciless.
Stories range from dark and psychologically cruel novels (as Velvetglove) to female-dominant / male-submissive unconventional romances (as Velma Glover) to twist-in-the-tale short stories, aimed at female-submissive readers in particular (VG).
In real life, she's an ordinary chap with a family, a dog and a mortgage.
