 | STORY DESCRIPTION It is the crisis of Sarah's young life. After finally confronting the reality of her own sexuality and the imperatives of her love, she has finally become Daniela's lover. Yet that fragile beginning is immediately under peril. Her boyfriend, Alan, has returned from America and both his and her families are eager to formalise the understanding between them. Sarah is ordered by her parents to attend a party at their house in the Southern canton of Ticino where Alan and Sarah will be reunited and a formal engagement and early wedding date are to be announced.
Sarah journeys to Ticino to face the hardest choice she will ever make. Will she acquiesce in her parent's wishes and marry the son of the wealthy Berger family or will she alienate her family completely to make her break for freedom and an uncertain future in a lesbian relationship with Daniela?
This, the third novel in this passionate and enchanting drama of Sapphic love, amidst the verdant alpine valley of the Toggenburg, the sun baked lakes and streams of Ticino and a strange and distant island set in the North Sea, follows Sarah on her journey through her sexual awakening and the perilous shoals of a hitherto unthinkable love. The love story between two remarkable women is a lesbian romance the reader will never forget.

I really loved this book. I read it yesterday, the first day it came out and am already re-reading it.
I love the characters and their relationships. I had been checking Amazon every morning to see when
it came out and started reading it immediately. I had really wanted to see how Sarah handles going
to Ticino and dealing with her family.
I love the writing, it is a sort of old fashioned style of writing, sort of Edgar Rice Burroughs or something of
that era.
I also love the book for the descriptions of the area. I've rarely had a book make me want to visit a place
so much. Both the Toggenburg and Ticino sound wonderful.
I felt so caught up in this book, I was totally captured by the events and characters. I am very much
looking forward to the next book. I hope it doesn't take too long to come out!
After reading this book, every other book suffered for the next week. I kept thinking, why couldn't this book be as good as the toggenburg books? Why can't this character be as interesting as Sara or Danny?
spoilers:
I want to know:
* how it goes when Sarah meets Danny's daughter and parents
* what happens when Jess meets Danny
* ditto for John
* ditto for Sarah's parents
* what happens when it makes the news
* will the Bergers go after them, how will Simon help?
* will Simon teach the how to drive the Ferrari?
* will Sarah start on the naturalist book about the Toggenburg?
Like I say, I can't wait for the next book. I've already read all the books twice. (Amazon review) I really loved this book. I read it yesterday, the first day it came out and am already re-reading it.
