STORY DESCRIPTION

When the young Jennifer Walstow, daughter of the parish vicar, is caught in flagrant sexual misbehaviour with a young man, her father is horrified. To avoid the inevitable scandal, he sends her away in disgrace to stay with some friends of her mother in the countryside for the summer, where he hopes she will find little opportunity for further misconduct. It is a futile hope however.
