The author is back to her more earlier style and it works very well.
The plot is simple but the fate of Libby is well described and edgy.
The superfluous long flashbacks are absent and as a result it is
easier for the reader to be taken into the plot and carried along.

I have read several book by this author and they were good but
somewhat typical of this genre...it seems to me that he has departed
from his previous BDSM trope and produced an interesting and
significantly different erotic story..his use of time lines to
contrast changes in Libby's mental state is well done and very
compelling...and the ending is a great surprise...well worth the read

The author has gotten back to her some of her roots with this novel,
and I am very happy for that. No reviews of why the sadiat does what
he does. It's a solid story and worth the money. I'd still love to see
a return of some of her older characters (Stephani especially) to see
how they are doing. 4 out of 5 (LNH)
I have started using a "Text to Speech" App. and found that it greatly
improves the overall story quality. Where I would normally give this
a 4 rating, with the App. it is much more enjoyable and portable. 5
