This is an excellent addition to Katherine Forbes' work. It is
novella length and takes us back to the wonderful world of the
Caribbean and "Good Breeding" where we meet up again with "Jacaranda
Fancy".
The writing is of the usual high standard and there is plenty of
naughtiness afoot to get the juices flowing. My only gripe is that
the story is much too short - I have no doubt that there is much more
to be said about our new heroine Annabel. But then, any Katherine
Forbes at all is a bonus, so I'll gladly accept what is really a
tantalising appetiser before what I hope is the feast to come. 5 out
of 5 (implacable)
Interesting, different approach. Lends itself to a good extension with
more sexual description. Well done. 4 out of 5 (Fred)
Short and sweet. Needs more development which perhaps comes with the
succeeding novels. Also Black on white slave action seems appropriate.
