SYNOPSIS

This little book is a chapter from the highly-acclaimed book: “Land of Childhood’s Fears” – by David Todeschini.

– Erotica Tales Bookstore - http://www.a1adultebooks.com/ciphoenix.htm

This is a true story. The opening pages set the scene in Saigon, Vietnam, 1970-71. The description of the “Street Scenes” where prostitution is rampant as a matter of survival is true-to-life; even today. The author goes on to tell the story of how he and some friends started out bar-hopping, and how he ended up falling madly in love with a Saigon bar girl. The sexual content is minimal, but those who like to use the text of a story to start the fires of their imagination will love this tragic love story.

Excerpt from “Romance in The War Zone”

Most all of South Vietnam\'s larger cities such as Danang, Pleiku, Bien Hoa, Long Bihn, had their equivalent of Saigon\'s TuDo Street, which can only be described as a “red light district”, or perhaps “the 42nd Street of Southeast Asia” sans the pinball arcades, movie theatres, and flashing neon billboards. I assure the reader that the latter comparison does not refer to X-rated movie theatres or “peep shows”, and the former inference has nothing to do with traffic signals. Saigon\'s TuDo Street was a veritable Sodom and Gomorrah exceeding Biblical proportions, and it was legend among the GIs in-country….

Up until this moment, Kim and I had only spoke a few words to each other, sufficient to inquire of each other names; the rest was incomprehensible except by the tone of voice. I was tempted to ask her how old she was, but it was too late now. It really didn’t matter at this point, although I knew from the start that she was younger than I was…. Perhaps 18 or 19. “I\'m gonna\' like it here” ran through the barrage of thoughts in my mind as I told her, “Kim very pretty”. At that, her hand found its mark, and then she giggled and purred like a little kitten. “Naughty, too!”….

As the next hour or so passed, the sun had gone down, and the soft music emanating from parts unknown, had almost imperceptibly vacillated from seductively strange Oriental dirges to romantic rock-and-roll, Jimi Hendrix, and the tunes of Woodstock. The room was now dimly lit, a single source of light from a nearby building coming in through the window. The light only sufficient to see the silhouette of this sweet little China doll in bed next to me, and her deep black eyes taking me in, drawing me closer like gravity….

In the next few moments, I found myself in bed with a tiger. I was so afraid to hurt her; she was very fragile, light as a feather, nimble as a rag doll. Our position was anatomically incorrect for copulation, or so I thought. She proved I was wrong….

When I did engage in sex with Kim Chee, the bar girl on TuDo Street, I thought I had “fallen in love”, but that obviously was confused with my first true Agape’ love – and lust, which is the social curse of every healthy post-adolescent male, got the better of me. Was it love, or was it something different?....
