“Darling,” MiLady said softly. “I need you to place this order at the Erotic Power Xchange
today.”
Nestled deep in the satin of MiLady’s chaise, the slender forty year old stirred from her
comfort. “Is this for your new client, Mistress?”
Chastity whispered.
“Lord Alexander Hamilton,” she stated.
“Didn’t he do something with Raymond Burr?”
MiLady broke into a smile, constantly amused by her babies. “No, darling, you’re thinking
of Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton, a president. They got entangled in a nasty little
spat that involved gun play.”
“That’s not nice,” Chastity said decisively.
“Ah, well...open a file for this client because we’re going on a spending spree,
darling.”
“Ooooo,” Chastity whispered. “Can we go to New York?”
MiLady winced a little. “We’ll see. I want these few things delivered Friday morning
before noon, if there’s any way possible.”
Chastity scoffed. “How much do you want to pay for that special service?”
Good question. Exactly how much was Lord Hamilton willing to pay? “Let’s find out. Don’t
pay any more than an extra grand to expedite it.”
Chastity unwound from the floor into MiLady’s arms. Her breasts pressed hard against
MiLady’s as her lips grazed MiLady’s cheek. “I can see you’re interested in this client.”
MiLady lay back in the leather office chair and pulled Chastity with her. “This is
definitely a special case. And because our Lord Arthur has initiated it, we are going to
do a very good job. Or fuck it up worse than anything before it.”
Tenderly, Chastity rubbed her nose over Mistress’ breasts. “And what about the chick?”
she asked with an edge in her voice.
Quickly, MiLady grasped her upper arms and held her tightly. “Now, we’ve talked about
this over and over,” MiLady warned of the remnants of jealousy that were ever-present in
Chastity. And yet, the jealousy stemmed not from feeling possessive of MiLady, but rather
loneliness without her. “This is a project you’re going to be very involved in. I need you
on this one.”
“Do you?”
“Yes. There’s a lot of shopping involved and you may serve as hostess here and there.”
“I’d love that,” Chastity said quickly.
“I hate to shop,” MiLady scowled. “I have thirty items for you to research this week and
then I want you to put a design board together. I think we have about four months to bring
this to a big, fat, happy denouement.”
“You sound very positive on this one,” Chastity commented.
“It kinda feels that way, but you never know, baby,” she said thinking of Lord Hamilton,
knowing that her inside connection made this relationship rather unethical. While she had
known Arthur for thirty years, rarely had she seen him so insistent. “Never in this world
do you know who you’re talking to...at least for awhile.”
Sitting at the kitchen table with his wife, Lord Hamilton studied her fingers as they
wrapped around a cup of coffee. “I got an email from your son this morning,” he stated.
She drew in a heavy breath; loathe to listen to another tirade. “He forwarded it to me,
Alex.”
He paused for a long moment to see the way she clutched to the cup. “How do you feel
about that, honey?”
Quickly, she looked up and peered at him, searching. It had been years since he’d asked
her opinion of anything. Attempting to control her roiling stomach during this latest
crises, she stated, “That our son has found the love of his life and wants to get married
during his freshman year of college does not fill me with hope.”
Alex laughed a little. “And I know you want to beg him not to do that,” he said gently.
“On my hands and knees if I have to,” she said, filled with aggravation.
Inwardly, Alex smiled. This was exactly the woman he wanted, but she was begging in the
wrong places. “I want to make a suggestion about a different approach.”
Filled instantly with curiosity, she perked. “I’m listening.”
From his pocket, he pulled a type-written letter and placed it before her. Fascinated,
she grinned.
Dear Joshua,
The love of your life at your tender age!!! I can’t tell you how happy I am. As a father
this is a proud moment. Please know how anxious I am to meet my future daughter-in-law.
To get these many long and hopefully happy and fruitful years started properly, I will be
more than happy to incur expenses. Of course, you’ll want to be thinking now of your
career instead of education. Of course, there are always entry level positions downstairs
at Hamilton, Inc. I think I can get you a job.
Let me know, son. Obviously, I’d like to meet the young lady’s parents, also. And you
know your mother will insist on a very lavish affair. She so desperately wanted a
champagne fountain at our wedding, but alas... Now’s her big chance. If her parents don’t
want to pay for it, I will.
