We have a fully-integrated custom-built shopping cart which allows you to select the books you want to buy, add them to the shopping cart and then pay for them all in one transaction.

This is a FREE Members site, and we recommend you join us BEFORE you make a purchase so your ebooks can be stored in your member library - for you to download at your leisure. You can also purchase from us without becoming a member.

When you add a book to the shopping cart you will cause a summary shopping cart to be displayed on the top left of the main book page. You can then click on the VIEW CART / CHECKOUT link to display the items in the basket. You then have two options - either to return to the book store to peruse other titles or to proceed to complete the transaction.

Our Shopping Cart system uses what we call sticky orders. This means if you lose your Internet connection during the shopping process, when you log back in from the same computer, we should be able to retrieve your order for you! This will save you from looking for the same books you want again.

If you have a PAYPAL account, you can use that to purchase our books. If not you can use our card processing agents. Our credit card processing agents are on a secure server and accept most Visa and Mastercard derivatives.  When you press the "Pay By Credit Card" option from our shopping basket you will be re-directed to the credit card processor's secure server. All the information you then provide is used by them to authorise your payment. We are told NONE of your credit card details. All they tell us is how we can contact you in case of any problems. You will see on their system the name that will appear on your card statement.

Once your card has been authorised you will be sent a confirmation email from the card processors (with your purchase transaction and authorisation details) and we will add the books you have purchased to your FREE Member library if you are a member, or direct you to a download page if you are not a member. Either way you will have access to your purchase immediately after you complete payment. You can select any of the formats we have available (usually  Word Doc, Adobe PDF, MSReader and plain text as well as Mobi/Kindle, Sony and Palm formats).

EBOOK DOWNLOADS

Since we have had a few queries about our download ebooks, this topic will hopefully illuminate everyone who needs help.

First off the ONLY formats available for a given title are those displayed on the main book page and those shown on the download screen or members library. We can not create other formats if any are missing for any publisher other than a1adultebooks.

If a format is missing for an A1AdultEbooks published title - please contact our editor at editors-desk@a1adultebooks.com  mention the title and the format that is missing.

THE SAFEST WAY and most successful way to get your ebooks downloaded is to ONLY DOWNLOAD one book and one format at a time. In fact, with PDF files, doing anything else is almost bound to end in disaster.

For ALL formats, except the MSReader (.lit) file you should RIGHT CLICK on the mouse, select "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..." depending on your browser. When the next window opens SAVE the file to your PC. Once the download is completed you should then open the reader (MSWord, Adobe Acrcobat, Notepad etc) from your Windows or other application - and from the application use the File Open option to opent the file from where you saved it.

Other techniques DO work for some, but the above is by far the most hassle free for most.

Most download problems are as a result of the above procedure not being followed - a FEW occur when the server is very busy at certain peak times of the day. This can cause a timeout on the server to occur and the download has to be restarted. Particularly vulnerable to this are the PDF (Acrobat) versions of the books.
