Engrossing story based on the TV series. As always the author
explores the Psychological aspects of the victims but shorts on the
physical effects. While I do enjoy most of her works that I have read
she reminds me of Steven King in that they both use 3 words where 1
will more than suffice. "Brevity is the soul of wit" and would really
move the story along if she would take this advice. 4 out of 5

missing or just false ("... by someone who used to be on her side." <
The antagonist(s) was (were) never on Buffy's side to begin with). It
almost feels like the idea to make this a 'fanfiction' came later, a
late addition really. All of which is a shame because the story has
some good ideas. The term 'wasted potential' comes to mind. With some
tweaking this could be a splendid story. Change the location (the
series has plenty to chose from), use a different character as the
antagonist (again, there are better choices), downplay some aspects
and emphasize other and this can be great. 2 out of 5 (WN78)

Delicious and wicked. The sadist increases her control over Lisa. The
growing despair is palpable and we feel like a voyeur witnessing a
terrible fate....will there be a price to pay to be privy to such
scenes?
One complaint though.....the story ends too soon for the mother and
older daughter.....a third part would be needed...
Obviously editorial constraints mean that there can be only two
parts....can this be changed...or does it mean the editor needs to be
tricked into the vortex as well:)? 5 out of 5 (Dressage10) It is a typical DFN story with at least this time less obvious repeat
sentences. As a typical story it has the same flaws.
First the main "victim" is brought under absolute control and the only
bad thing happening are should i say tame in comparison to what
someone who is supposedly an extreme sadist could do. And i am not
talking about whipping the victim to death but more inflicting
emotional torture, humiliation, extreme body mods.
Second the author is always bringing her stories to an unsatisfactory
conclusion meaning that there has to be a part where the
mother/daughter are taken in and nasty/humiliating things happen to
them for the enjoyment of the reader. You don t build such a momentum
without bringing it to life (The Experiment). Yes we can imagine the
sequel but it s the author's imagination that brings that extra,
unexpected ideas. Is it that chapter 3 do exists but is too extreme to
be published? I wonder.
I am tired of these conclusions that are not real endings, it is a
pity because the build up is great and getting better. 3 out of 5
(darkS0ul) Somewhat better than book 1 and moves along quite well. My main gripe
is that there are some excellent ideas that are introduced but then
after just touching on them the author moves on without going on into

Great book. Well written, both the younger sister's descent and the
anxious wait of older sister and mum are very well described. Rich
sadist is everything you expect from a true sadist! One of DFN very
very good stories. 5 out of 5 (Dressage10) As a reader of many of this author's books, I would rate this book as
poor. The plot that a well adjusted teen would take a ride from a
strange woman and then fall for this woman's "guilt" trip is absurd.
DrkF has written far better. 2 out of 5 (Osprey) One of her better written stories even though it offers nothing really
original it’s much easier to follow but a bit long for the amount of
story it contains. Wish the author had combined books 1 & 2 into one

Interesting insight into the further fall of daughter and mother. The
mental bondage is well developped. The cruelty and cunning of the

To my mind, there must be a 3rd part to add the full description of
the mother and daughter physical bondage and utter destruction.
If no 3rd part is forthcoming, I would give this part a 3 out of 5 4

done ito the daughter in book 1 was done to the mother in book 2.

In this book, DFN has certainly adressed some of the critics voiced
around her characters being victims right from the start and not
fighting one bit!
It's interesting to discover two former victims, one being made to
appear despicable and the other one heroic. Are we too quick to
judge?
Pippa is extremely cold throughout and somehow her coldness rubbed on
me. I was of course wishing her to "go and get them" but in a rather
detached way, not as detached as she is but something going in the
same direction.
The pace is good, the plot is interesting. Reminds a bit of
Millenium.
More unexpected twists in book two? 4 out of 5 (Dressage10) All I can say about this is that it was very boring. No story and
written in her earlier repetitive and annoying style. 1 out of 5

The downward spiral continues for Tessa, her family and Gail the close
protection officer.
I always enjoy very much DFN's ability to describe hellish and
inescapable places...it kind of grows on you and you can almost feel
the hopelessness of such fortresses. The physical side becomes mental
and the victim's world is constantly shrinking as more and more
vicious bondage is applied to them. DFN is also able to describe
bondage of the mind which is more subtle and devastating than the
physical as her subjects experiment the destroying guilt and shame of
thinking they could stop it anytime if only they were not so
hopelessly sick. DFN is good at twisting people's minds...
I would have liked to see Gail being brought down and used step by
step too. I missed seeing and touching her in ultimate latex bondage
with her mind so messed up that all her values would be turned upside
down...and it would be so delicious to get a front row seat to witness
Lady Aylesbury's final steps of her demise and transformation! Two
books might not be enough for all that!
Anyway, DFN gives us another very perverse and dark journey into
ultimate sadism which is very gripping and worthy of our, at least my,
attention.
5 out of 5 (Dressage10) Another story fragment, except this isn't a "story" at all, but rather
a catalog of horrors. A STORY requires struggle on at least some
level, and besides Gail's murder, over in about 10 pages, there is NO
struggle here. All of the major "characters" here are actually
cardboard cut-outs, passive victims who do not in any way resist or
even struggle with their fates. Though there are several hot SCENES,
overall this is a huge yawn. 2 out of 5 (death2uall) Experiment 1 and Experiment 2 are the author's best works in terms of
preciseness, clarity, imagery and non-repetitiveness. The train scene
was amazing, described like a movie and of even the bus scene was
magnificent. The torture scene was very long, detailed and
descriptive, chilling and powerful! Loved it!! The the psychological
torture of the mother powerfully added to the story. I highly
recommend both parts for both a first-time and long-time reader of her
work. 5 out of 5 (NoName) Really enjoyed this chapter. I was hoping for a chapter 3 with more
mother involvement as promised. 4 out of 5 (p)
