AWARDS AND REWARDS SCHEMES

We believe our hard-working authors should be rewarded for their efforts,
so we have introduced our Awards and Rewards Schemes for authors who are published by A1AdultEbooks.

These awards and rewards DO NOT apply to authors whose books appear on our site which have been added by other publishers. 

From November 2009, these awards and rewards will apply ONLY to authors published directly by A1AdultEbooks, and are subject to the terms and conditions stated below.

REWARDS SCHEME

After running this scheme for a couple of years, as of November 2009 we are making a few changes.

From 1st November 2009, we will add to our HALL OF FAME library 

any book that achieves at least DIAMOND SALES level (our third sales level) 

during the initial 28 days of the book being published. 

For all of our own authors who publish their titles with us as FIRST RUN EXCLUSIVE titles 

(i.e. brand new works published exclusively on A1AdultEbooks for 28 days before being published elsewhere)

we also offer monetary awards for sales achievements.
For every $200 in sales achieved in the initial 28 days of publication 

FOR A FIRST RUN TITLE
we award the author a $10 bonus which will be credited to the author's account at the end of the 28 day period.

We also list on the site a 28 day rolling top 10 best sellers list, 

and a list of the top selling books in their first 28 days on the site,

with sales level achievement markers of Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Ultronium, 

as appropriate for every 30 copies sold in the first 28 days,

so everyone can see at a glance what books are doing well!

AWARDS SCHEME

New for 2009 we announce the A1AdultEbooks Author Awards. Only authors published directly by Fiction4All and A1AdultEbooks will be eligible for these awards, subject to the conditions below.

These awards are based on member votes and there are two categories.

First category is for authors published on A1AdultEbooks prior to the start of the year in which the award is made.

Second category is for authors published on A1AdultEbooks during the year of the award.

In each category there are THREE awards, each with monetary value and

each with a badge the author will have posted on their A1AdultEbooks profile and can also use elsewhere.

The monetary values are as follows:

1st Place - $100

   2nd Place - $50

3rd Place - $25

Only authors publishing at least one first run book

(ie exclusive on Fiction4All or A1AdultEbooks for its first 28 days)

during the award year will be eligible for an award.

Awards are given based on member votes. Members can only vote for an author if they have bought at least one of the author's books. Members can vote for ONE author in each category. Authors can not vote for themselves.

Voting will open on 1st December and close on 21st December. The awards will be given on 22nd December.
