| STORY DESCRIPTION In this, the fourth of the eleven Delights books, the wife of a Mafia boss is kidnapped during her North African honeymoon and sold as a slave, ending up in the Emir's harem. However, she is a strong-spirited Sicilian woman with definite ideas of right and wrong, so she is useless. They train her for the hunt and she nearly, oh so nearly, wins.
Her Mafia Capo husband comes looking for her, but is captured and "dealt with". Later they meet very briefly in the harem before she is given as a tip to a driver.
Intertwined in this story are some delightful vignettes, such as the secret visit of the American girl newshound who does go back to the USA, honest she does, the Emir can prove it. Some concubines get used, some abused, some impregnated, and we get to visit some more hidden rooms in the Triple Palace. And the Emir visits a cheap brothel.
